Cory Booker sets the record straight

Supreme Court Nominee, Kentanji Brown Jackson was recognized and supported by Cory Booker. False accusations by Republicans Senators Hawley, Cruz, and Graham grandstanding had nothing to do with the qualifications or her capability. Judge Jackson will make a terrific Supreme Court Judge. These Senators are weak and pathetic as they attempted to distort her judicial record. Political posturing to alienate voters is being used by Republicans to destroy our country. The right-wing nut jobs need to be voted out of office permanently.

“I’m just sitting here saying, ‘Nobody’s going to steal my joy. Nobody’s going to make me angry,’” Booker said as Jackson blotted her eyes with a tissue. “You have earned this spot. You are worthy. You are a great American.” By the time he had finished, not only Jackson but members of her family and even a staffer sitting behind Booker were wiping away tears.
